We are a group of scientists from different fields, different universes, united by a common interest in graphomotor skills. Our diverse team includes psychologists, educators and engineers, all driven by a passion for unravelling the complexities of writing. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to delve deep into the fascinating field of Graphonomics, where we explore the fundamental and applied aspects of handwriting and related skills.
At the heart of our research is the analysis of movement, which helps us to unlock the secrets of children’s handwriting and writing disorders. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge diagnostic tools that can make a real difference to children’s lives. Join us on this exciting journey as we push the boundaries of knowledge and change the way we understand writing.

Graphonomics is the multi-disciplinary field of fundamental and applied experimental research of handwriting and related skills. (https://graphonomics.net/). In our projects and studies, we use digitizing tablets (e.g. Wacom) and special software to record the movement of writing. Mathematical modelling, advanced statistical analysis and machine learning help us process the data and predict which handwritings have so-called dysgraphic features.
